Teacher.  In an assembly Friday, 1/12, CRES was presented the National Heart Healthy School Award for 2016-2017.  We received the award for being an overall "heart healthy" school, which means:  we do our best to make healthy food options available to our students and encourage them to make healthy food choices; the staff supports and encourages a heart healthy lifestyle; and CRES has been involved in Jump Rope for Heart for 30+ years.   More than 500 schools nationwide were nominated for this prestigious award.
